Third Time's a Charm for SoCal Weim Fest!
SoCal Weimaraner Rescue is excited to announce we will again be hosting SoCal Weim Fest for our third year. This year we're headed to a park to give the Weimies more room to stretch their legs.

What can I expect at SoCal Weim Fest?
Park Entry: $8.00 charged by the park upon entry to cover parking.
Event Entry:
Adults: $35 (ages 13-64)
Seniors: $25 (ages 65+)
Children: $20 (12 and under)
Dogs: Free!
Admission costs will cover food and activities and will be separate from park entry or raffle entry costs. Any proceeds in excess of costs will be used by the organization to support the dogs in our care.
Location: The event will be held in the Long Beach area at the Sycamore Grove Picnic Area of El Dorado East Regional Park. Tables and chairs will be available but keep in mind the field may be uneven in spots and not completely shaded. Plan accordingly for you and your pups.
Food & Beverages: Delicious sandwiches from Corner Bakery Cafe. Sodas and waters provided. Note, no alcohol allowed in the park.
Activities: Meet and mingle with fellow Weimaraner enthusiasts and SoCal Weim Rescue board members and volunteers. Challenge your dog's obedience by participating in our dog games and a rescue dog parade (participation optional)!
Raffle Prizes & Giveways: We'll have some goodies both humans and dogs alike will enjoy!
Can My Dog Attend?
Dogs are welcome to attend but must be on a leash and well socialized. At our event last year, more than 100 people and 50 dogs were in attendance so be sure your pup can be well controlled in crowds of that size and is comfortable around groups of dogs.
What Will This Cost?
Expect to pay $8 to enter the park plus an admission fee per guest based on age (see above) as well as a cost to enter a raffle (optional).
The park entry fee covers parking at the event and the admission fee will cover food and activities. Any proceeds in excess of costs will be used by the organization to support the dogs in our care.

Where Is This Located?
We will be hosting the event at the Sycamore Grove Picnic Area of El Dorado East Regional Park in the Long Beach area (7550 East Spring Street Long Beach, CA 90815).
It is a public park with ample parking after paying the entrance fee.
