MEET ADDIE
In March of 2023, this little chocolate nugget was born to a female Weimaraner who was found under a car after giving birth to her ten puppies. Animal control picked them up in the cold and the rain and SoCal Weim Rescue took them in to find their forever homes. Addie landed in a home with another resident Weimaraner and children. Her parents got right to work socializing her in doggy daycare, attending regular training classes, and as a result she does well with other dogs and kids but sadly did not get along with her resident Weimaraner housemate. The family that adopted her were devastated to have to let her go but when it's not the right fit it just isn't so Addie is back in our program looking for her forever home.
Addy is a one-year-old, snuggly, cuddly, loves kids type of girl and will make a great family member. She has a natural tail and is healthy and up to date on all vaccines. She is house trained and loves to play. Due to her young age, she is not yet spayed so she will be adopted with a spay contract to allow her to grow up a little more before she is altered (a spay contract is when a deposit is paid by the adopter at time of adoption and refunded when proof of spay is provided).
She is not 100% Weimaraner and we suspect the mix may be German Shorthaired Pointer which may explain this sweet girl's liver color.
