This beautiful boy is not in the SoCal Weim Program but is worthy to get the wonderful home he deserves! Meet Klein!
Klein is William Wegman-worthy, or even more handsome than that as you can see!! He has those genuine good looks that only a Blue Weim has. He is young and sprightly at six years old in spite of dealing with Wobblers disease. He is equal parts goofy and gorgeous and this sweet boy is well socialized with other dogs (both big and small).
Klein loves to play ball, chase squirrels in the yard, go on long walks and lay by your side whenever given the chance. Does that toy have a squeaky??? It is bound to be his! Klein was raised with children in the home but it is found lately as the resident two-legged 'baby' blossoms into a toddler that the little ones tend to move a little too fast and squeal a little too loud to his liking. Because of this, he is best suited for a family with older children in a more calm, quiet environment without the constant activity of knee high children.
He would love it if you were a 'work out of the home' family to have constant companionship as he is typical Weim and as velcro as they come. Klein is known to be a Weimadini (anything like Houdini?) who is smart enough to open locks. He knows basic commands and is housetrained. Klein has been on medication that is controlling his Wobblers quite well and we've been told he will live a long and happy life.
Recently Klein's family relocated to an apartment which isn't quite suitable for his needs. As much as they love Klein they know it's best to get him into a more comfortable environment. He would love to go back to what he knows....an active family with older kids, maybe a doggy door and a yard to play and romp in...a bonus being a couple squirrels to chase! Do you have a place like this? He would LOVE you to come meet and see if you are a fit for him! You'd be lucky to have him as your next family member!
Klein is currently with his owner. This is a courtesy post so Klein ends up in the home his parents think is best. He is in the Los Angeles area. Please call with any questions or concerns. The adoption fee will be waived for only the right home who understands Klein's medical needs.
